New in Revit 2013?
I think this is new. I just discovered it, tried it in 2012 and it seems to be new, but I did not see it mentioned anywhere else.
It seems that if you double-click on a Family that it will open in the Family Editor. This is true in the project editor and the Family Editor. Kinda cool? But I can also see this being unintended at times…
Anyone care to comment? What did you find?

It is intentional, mentioned it on my blog a couple days ago. Double click middle button = zoom to fit and double click left button on component family = Edit Family
Yeah but I am trying to decide if I like it or not…
Yep, this came from Vasari. I found this in early alpha testing and personally like it. In Vasari you can finish editing through a double click too but they omitted that from Revit.
Unfortunately I discovered it AFTER I finished editing the Family Editor chapter. Oh well, next time.
